Hi, I’m Julia. I’ve been capturing special moments for over 15 years.
My award-winning photographic style is influenced by my experience in editorial photography - photographs with a fresh, contemporary edge, and natural spontaneity.
My couples choose me to photograph their wedding day because of the quality and style of my images and for my low-key, good humoured approach on the day. You will get a comprehensive record of your day, capturing the details, emotions and events that make your day unique and special to you whilst my style is unobtrusive and discreet; the day unfolds naturally, never dictated by the photography. It is very important to me that you can relax and enjoy your wedding without worrying about the photography.
Most of my clients come to me through personal recommendation or having seen me working at a friend or family member's wedding, however, you can also get a really good feel for the way by reading some of the testimonials from past clients on the 'What Others Say' page. Discretion and honouring many of my client's preference for privacy is an important part of the service I offer, so I can not share every one of the wonderful weddings that I have had the privilege of photographing with you, but looking at my portfolio gallery and featured weddings will also give you a really good idea of the style of photography that I offer. However, a website will never tell you the full story, so do get in touch and we can discuss your day and priorities in more detail and arrange to view my full printed portfolio in the beautiful albums and storybooks I offer.
Once your day arrives, I will spend time with you capturing all those important details and moments as you get ready and will remain with you for the rest of the day, through to and beyond your first dance. My aim is to photograph your day as it unfolds - candid, documentary style photography, captured with a creative and arty eye, resulting in a collection of beautiful, contemporary photographs with a fresh spontaneous edge.
After the wedding, I spend lots of time editing and post-producing your images to create a beautiful set of photographs that reflect the personal story of your day. Your gallery is uploaded to a secure area of the website for you to view and share with friends and family and your images are delivered to you as high resolution 'Digital Freedom' digital files, fully licensed for reproduction and printing. As an optional extra, you can also choose to have your favourite photographs presented in one of the beautiful bespoke album and storybook ranges that I offer.

So that I can give you a great service and the attention that your wedding deserves, I only photograph a handful of weddings a year.
